The author's platform in "do-it-Yourself" is Virtual PC 5.0, which he uses as a development platform, but unfortunately VIRTUALPC was mirosoft after the launch of the 5.2 version, and then played Microsoft's overbearing, Let VPC only support Windows. Not even DOS support is bad.
Note: This article has been carefully typesetting after the release, the results of the CSDN did not submit up, depressed Ah, this time a little row of the version, Pai bad everyone forgive!
Note 2: I toss VPC and VMware up to a day to sort out this article, in view of the Internet does not have the relevant resources, deliberately written for everyone's reference, reprint please keep my information and Web site, thank you!
To get back to the point, I'm here today to take a look at VPC's experience:
First of all, virtual PC 5.2 Chinese version is the best choice, virtual 2007 can install DOS, but cannot share folders (for one reason).
1. Installation of Msdos 6.22
Come here. Mirroring of the next msdos6.22: http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm
Please select now: non-windows Based Image Files W_imageapp dos622c.zip
Direct Download Address: Http://s93616405.onlinehome.us/bootdisk/622c.zip
After the download is uncompressed is a 622c.img (this is a floppy disk image)
Then start Virtual PC, create a new PC, memory 32m, HDD 50m,ok boot!
Menu-> floppy-> load mirror like select 622c.img
OK, boot the system into DOS. Then partition the hard disk
Execute command: Fdisk all the way to return to the end (note: 2007 needs, 5.2 version does not need)
Then format c:/s
Then transfer system file SYS C:
Then copy the floppy file: copy a:\*.* C:\ (Be careful not to overwrite files that already exist on C disk)
OK. Menu-> floppy-> release mirror "622c.img"
Reboot, so you're in the DOS environment.
2. Install the shared folder module.
Note: DOS is no longer supported in 2007, so no additional modules are available under DOS, I wanted to replace the DOS module in the VPC5.2 version, but when I ran Fshare.exe (which provides folder sharing), I was prompted to say: Fshare.exe is not running in the Connectix company's products and cannot be run, causing the DOS add-on module to not be installed in VPC2007, not the shared folder.
VPC 5.2 Chinese version of the setting method:
After rebooting into DOS, the menu-> floppy-> load mirror like select DOS Add-on module (this file I have placed in the public download directory of http://greenerycn.ys168.com is dosadditions.7z)
After loading, switch to floppy disk
Execute command: c:\>a:
Execute command: A:\>dosadd
Then you can see the successful. hehe.
Then the reboot, after entering the DOS system, the menu-> edit the-> property settings when the shared folder can be added. Add a, set the letter y:
Then execute command Y:
You can see the shared file.
The first step in VMware allows you to set up shared folders. Do not install additional modules!
It is best to use VMware because it is less complex to implement folder sharing when she supports multiple systems.
