Installing Nmon monitoring Tools under Linux

1. Download the compressed package first

wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/nmon/files/download/nmon_x86_12a.zip/download

2. Unzip and Modify permissions

chmod +x NMON_X86_RHEL52MV Nmon_x86_rhel52/usr/bin/nmon

3. Startup may report the following error, install the appropriate package, if not reported, the installation is successful, can be used directly

Error 1:

Error while loading shared Libraries:libncurses.so.5:cannot open Shared object file:no such file or directory

Solve:

Yum Install Ncurses-devel.i686-y

Error 2:

We may report this error when we exit after executing the Nmon command:

SH:/usr/bin/lsb_release:no such file or directory

Solve:

Yum Install Redhat-lsb-y

This command may install about 55 packages, so be careful.

Here, the installation is successful and can be used.
