Problem description:
when installing Oracle for 10 Gb,
"Checking Network Configuration Requirements... check complete. The overall result of this check is: not executed
solution: Oracle supports installation on a system with IP addresses allocated by DHCP. Before installation, you must configure the Microsoft loopback adapter as the primary network adapter of the system. For more information about installing software on a system with DHCP configured, see the installation guide ."
solution:
before installing Oracle 10 Gb, the system checks whether certain prerequisites for installation are met. A message is often prompted: configure the Microsoft loopback adapter as the system's primary network adapter.
if you do not have this configuration and you do not want the installation process to cause problems, you can perform the following operations:
Control Panel-> Add hardware, in the wizard, select "Yes, connected to this hardware" → Add a new hardware device → install my manual list select hardware (advanced) → network adapter → vendor: Microsoft NIC: after Microsoft loopback adapter is added, you will find a new "Local Connection" using this fake "Microsoft loopback adapter" (because the hardware is not connected at all, just lie to Oracle ). Set the IP address of the local connection (for example, 192.168.0.1 ). Now let's go back and let Oracle check again. It should have passed.
----------------------------------------------------
If the installation is ignored, will the database usage be affected? At the same time, be sure to select a Microsoft Nic when selecting the NIC, which is better configured. Otherwise, the NIC may fail to be started.
Which of the following will be affected?
A: Yes. Some Oracle services cannot be started during installation, and my listener has not been installed yet.
