Installing Perl modules from CPAN

Perl is short for Practical Extraction and report language. It is designed by Larry Wall and is constantly updated and maintained by him. perl is powerful and flexible in advanced languages (such as C) and supports code Encapsulation by modules. The famous CPAN has many useful modules, which can greatly reduce the development workload.

You can use the Perl CPAN module to automatically download and install the module from the server.

Go to CPAN Shell

# Perl-mcpan-e Shell

Download and install the Net: DNS: Codes Module

CPAN> install
Net: DNS: Codes

You can also use a single command

# Perl-mcpan-e 'Install net: DNS: Code'
