Win10 a problem occurred while installing SQL Server 2008 Installation:

1. Sometimes after performing certain operations, there is no response. Try a few more times.

2. When verifying, the report restart fails.

Run the registry, locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager directory, locate PendingFileRenameOperations on the right, Delete it.

3. Install the assembly "microsoft.vc90.atl,version=" 9.0.21022.8 ",... Error

Workaround:

Run the registry and rename the Hkey-local-machine/software/microsoft/devdiv on the line.
Install it and change it back.

4. If more than VS2012 is installed, SQL Server may not start.

Workaround:

1. Uninstall VS2012 or other installed Microsoft SQL Server Express LocalDB service.

2. Upgrading SQL Server 2008 to SP1,SP2

3. Right-click on "Computer" → "Manage" → "services", locate SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER), right click, select "Start". There is no problem logging into the database at this time, but after restarting the system, the problem will persist.

Run cmd under WIN, shortcut key: Win+r
