1. Open the VMware Workstation and click New Virtual Machine.
2. You can use "typical (recommended)" To load the Android x86 4.4 image in accordance with the VMware Wizard to complete the virtual machine setup. If the installation encounters a problem, you can try "Custom (Advanced)" and refer to the following steps.
3. Select VMware Workstation 6.0.
4. Open the downloaded Android (Android) x86 4.4 ISO Image

5. Click Next, and finally select NAT mode on the network type interface.


6. Click "Next" until you complete the new virtual machine. After the virtual machine installation is complete, open the virtual electromechanical source.
Third, create the installation partition (key)
1. In the partition creation interface, press the left and RIGHT arrow keys to move the cursor to "New".


2. Select "Primary" to first create a primary partition, this is because the system must be installed on the primary partition (if you need to create multiple partitions, in addition to the main partition of the installation system to select the primary partition or logical partition is not much different);


3. Then enter the size of the primary partition (size) you want to create in megabytes. Android x86 takes up a small amount of hard disk space without allocating too much space. The system itself 1024MB (1GB) is enough, if used to play the game that still set a little bit larger.


4. After setting the partition, select the "bootale" option of the menu to set the partition to a bootable partition (similar to the active partition in Windows).

Once the primary partition is created, you can install the Android x86 system into the previously created partition.
1. Return to the System installation Partition selection screen, the partition you just created is already displayed in the list of menus, select the partition as your system partition, and press ENTER to confirm.


2. Next select the partition file system, it is recommended to select "EXT3", which is one of the most used partitions on the mobile Android system, the compatibility of the Android app is better.


3. Install the boot loader confirmation and select "YES".

4. Set the system folder to read and write permissions and select "Yes". Suitable for the developer to debug, but takes up a bit of hard disk space. If you do not need to select "No".

5. When prompted "... installed successfully" means that the Android x86 system has been successfully installed on the hard drive.


6. On this screen you can also choose to create a virtual SD card (create a fake SD cards), some applications must use the SD card to run properly.
7. After the virtual SD card is created successfully, select "Reboot" to restart the computer, "Run android-x86" is directly open android-x86 (prone to problems).
