Installing the ADT plugin in eclipse

For the program developers, Eclipse is no stranger, it provides us with a very broad platform to develop the program. Also we can use it to develop Android programs. However, in eclipse it is not possible to develop the Android program directly, we need to install an ADT plugin. The installation of the ADT plug-in is described below.

Method/Step

1. Open Eclipse, click Help----installnew Software

2. Pop-up window

3. Click on the Add pop-up window, name can be filled in, location click aarchive Select the local already downloaded ADT Plugin

4. Click OK to eject

5. Tick the two to next and pop

6. Click Next

7. Select Accept to click Finish and the installation process will pop up

8. Click OK and pop up when you're done

9. Click Yes to restart Eclipse, which completes the installation of the ADT plugin
