Installing the Oracle Client (navicat for Oracle)

This article uses Navicat for Oracle tools to connect Oracle

The installation process I will not repeat this, and the general software installation process is similar. The following is the main explanation of navicat configuration.

3, this should be the connection failed. So go to Oracle's website to download a new version of the OCI file

Here according to your own download Navicat for Oracle version to choose to download the corresponding Instant-client version, because I was under the 64bit navicat, so, I correspond to download:

4, take out the file: Oci.dll,orannzsbb11.dll,oraociei11.dll,oraocci11.dll, put the navicat for Oracle under the installation directory

Under the Instantclient_10_2 folder:

5, select the "Tools" menu under "Options" command, open the interface of the options:

7, in the "other" under the selection of OCI, on the right of the first file to browse the place, select the location of the Oci.dll, that is, we just placed the location.

After this configuration, restart the software, the connection is successful.
