Common versions of Oracle databases

    • In the development of Oracle database, the database has been in a state of continuous upgrade, with the following versions:
    • Oracle 8,oracle 8i:oracle 8i means Oracle is formally evolving to the Internet, where I means the Internet
    • Oracle 9i:oracle 8i is a transitional version, Oracle 9i is a more complete version of the database
    • Oracle 10g:g represents the grid, which is how the database operates in grid computing
    • Oracle 11g: A stable version of Oracle 10g and a new version that is now used more widely
    • Oracle 12c: Oracle's latest version of the 2013 database, C for cloud computing while Oracle 12c supports Big data processing power
