Unzip the Java installation package to the specified directory, here is/data/software/java/, and then add the following in/etc/profile:java_home =/data/software/java/jdk1.7.0_40 PATH = $JAVA _home/bin: $PATHCLASSPATH =.: $JAVA _home/lib/tools.jar: $JAVA _home/lib/dt.jar: $JAVA _ Home/libexport java_home PATH CLASSPATH then use the Source/etc/profile command to get the settings to take effect, using java-version to check if the installation was successful
