Installing the MPEG-1 Layer3 (MP3) decoder on Linux

Today, I suddenly wanted to play music on Linux, but when I opened it, I found a missing decoder.

So went online to find a solution, said the hype, but there is a post gives a very simple method.

The following content is reproduced in the network

The above tip does not have a decoder installed because the copyright issue software does not have its own decoder

The workaround is simply to install a third-party source

32-bit system third-party source: Rpm-ivh http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.i686.rpm

64-bit system third-party source: Rpm-ivh http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm

After you've installed it, turn on the music or movie and click Search to install the decoder.

Thank Daniel for his help, let us these small rookie less go many detours.
