Installing the Statet plugin in eclipse
1. Overview
As is known to all, many people do data mining favorite language is the R language, and can choose the IDE really many kinds, such as Emacs + Ess,rstudio and so on.
today, I wrote about using Eclipse + Statet to build the R locale.
2. Install Eclipse
I'm using the Ubuntu13.10 system, and I'm downloading eclipse in http://download.eclipse.org/.
i downloaded a. tar.gz file
TAR-XZVF file name. tar.gz CD installation directory./eclipse
3. Install the Statet plugin for Eclipse
(1) Launch Eclipse (2) Help, Install New softwareClick Add ... button, name can fill "Statet", Location: "http://download.walware.de/eclipse-3.8"Note: The following 3.8 represents the version number of EclipseThen, click "OK"
Select All in the pop-up window, Next, follow the prompts to install
Restart Eclipse
So far, the Statet plugin has been installed.
4. Configuring the Interactive Environment (1) Configuring the R environmentR Environment, Run/debug, Preference->statet, Windows
Click Add to select the R installed directory in the Pop-up dialog window
OK, you can.
(2) Configuring the consoleRun configrations-R configrationSelect "Rterm" in "Launch Type" to
so we can see that there's a line in the bottom of the console that lets us enter the R statement and execute
now that's the end of the installation of the Statet plugin, we can use eclipse for the R language!
