Installing the Tomcat server under Linux

1. Download Tomcat

wget http://apache.fayea.com/tomcat/tomcat-7/v7.0.68/bin/apache-tomcat-7.0.68.tar.gz

Tar zxvf apache-tomcat-7.0.68.tar.gz

2. Download the JDK

Access to www.oracle.com website download jdk

3. Installing the JDK

Tar zxvf jdk-8u73-linux-x64.gz

Vi/etc/profile

Export java_home=/opt/java/jdk1.8.0_73

Export path= $JAVA _home/bin: $PATH

Export classpath=.: $JAVA _home/lib/dt.jar: $JAVA _home/lib/tools.jar

wq!

4. Test the JDK

Java-version

5. Upload the project and run Tomcat
