Recently installed Windows Server 2003, feel pretty good, but the new problem comes, play CS when the beginning of animation without images, only sound. Tip "video is not available and vids:cvid is not found", which is the result of not having the video compression component installed in Windows Server 2003. Now do it yourself and add the video compression function to it.
1. On computers with Windows 2000 or Windows XP, copy Ir32_32.dll and iccvid.dll two dynamic link library files from the C:\windows\system32 folder to the local C:\windows\ System32 folder, you can also find a Windows2000 or Windows XP installation disk, go to command line mode, and use expand D:\i386\ir32_32.dl_ from the I386 folder of the CD C:\windows\ System32\ir32_32.dll (assuming the CD drive is a D disk) and expand D:\i386\iccvid.dl_ C:\windows\system32\iccvid.dll The two commands extract the dynamic link library file.
2. Open Registry Editor to find the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CURRENTVERSION\DRIVERS32" branch, Create a new string value named Vidc.cvid in the right pane, set its value to: Iccvid.dll, and then create a new two string value named Vidc.iv31 and VIDC.IV32 to set the key values of both strings to: Ir32_32.dll.
3. Restart the computer and then run CS to see the opening animation.
