InstallShield2013 Error 6109

InstallShield can compile and build the installation package when the package file is not added, after adding the package file, the following error is reported:

Isexp:error: -6109:internal Build Error

Isexp:error: -6017:the Build was unable to extract COM information; Make sure is running as Administrator.

Correction Method:

6109 Bug fix: Open project Assistant, switch to application files, select a file, right-click menu, switch to the COM &. NET Settings page in the pop-up form, and change the scan at build to none.

If another 6017 error occurs: Change the registration type to none.

The compilation is then repeated, and errors occur at compile time, but the installation package builds successfully.
