Intel has released open source 3D graphics to give Linux full-fledged support for accelerated OpenGL on the newest generation intel 965 express chipset graphics architecture which will be used in the Intel's New Core 2 duo "Conroe" processor, being released next week. the 965 express family primary des support for programmable vertex, geometry, and fragment shaders. by open sourcing the drivers for this new technology, Intel enables the open source community to experiment, develop, and contriics to the continuing advancement of Open Source 3D graphics.
