IntelliJ idea 13.1.4 new Java Web project

Open Software

Click Create New Project

Select Empty Project, click Next

Write the workspace name, click the Finish button, and the pop-up box is OK.

Configure the JDK (without dot new) and click OK

Select File>new Module ...

Left navigation bar Select Java, right tick Web application, then click Next

Write your own project name, then click Finish

Configure Tomcat

Click Edit Configurations ...

Select the following local, click Configure ... button to add your Tomcat file

Click Apply when you are finished selecting

Click the green plus sign above to add the tomcat you just configured

Name can be set to the names you want, in the middle of the navigation bar Select deployment

Add artifact

On the right, fill in the work path, click OK, the configuration is complete.
