However, the psychological process of the user is this:

Before installation: What is this? (new user)/What ' s new, is it worth updating? (old user) how to install?

Ready to install: How big is it? Where does it show up? Is there a plugin?

During installation: How long does it take?

At the end of the installation: Is it over? Will the software be set up, such as boot?

After installation: What do I need to be aware of at runtime? Open the look/talk later

By comparing the two, you find that the existing page process does not fully cover the user's needs, including the following:

"What is this?"

The first person to use the software can only see the updated content, but do not know the overall function, like elephant. Solution: In the first interface to show the essence of the software profile, which is also an advertising campaign.

"What ' s new, is it worth updating?"

There is what ' s new, there is no relevant information that is worth updating. Solution: Set the official update hierarchy, for example: important normal minor. The user chooses the update independently under the informed circumstance.

"Safe or not?" & "Do you have plugins?"

The quality of the promotional software will increase the user's trust level.

"How much time does it take?" & "Where did it go?"

This is the user control of time, to avoid wasting the waiting time. The most common is the progress bar that displays the specific files that are being written and the whole (Figure 1). 5. Install the success of the page, the "Finish" button and "Run Now" and its check box out, change to "run immediately" and "later" two buttons, "immediately run" button on the "later" button to the left (priority to see and use).
