"Great little secretary" is alleged to be "rogue"

Morning Post reporter Xu Yu reported that Shanghai's first Internet user sued the "rogue software" case yesterday in the Pudong New Area court hearing. The core network friend of the anti-rogue software alliance filed a complaint to bring Shanghai great Information Technology Co., Ltd. to court and asked the other party to immediately stop manufacturing and disseminate the "great little secretary" software and apologize publicly, and a symbolic compensation of $94. Both parties present the evidence to the presiding judge and question the other party's evidence. The plaintiff's lawyer submitted evidence to prove that "great little secretary" is a kind of network plug-in. Forced installation without notice to netizens will often bring up advertisements and cannot be completely deleted. In order to delete the "great secretary", the plaintiff spent 150 yuan to ask the IT service company for help.

The defendant's lawyer said that "great little secretary" is not a rogue software, it is self-installed by netizens, not forced installation, and does not involve infringement of users' right to know. In addition, the uninstallation operation is simple and easy, and there will be no "sequelae" after deletion, there is no problem of uninstallation.
