Intranet knowledge: solution to file sharing failure

Source: Internet

Two PCA and B vrouters use the DLink604 vro to share the bandwidth. They both have two different SP2 systems installed, all of which are clean and without any software installed, however, all of them are in the same situation: both of them can access the Internet, and B can open the shared folder of A in the "Network Neighbor" without any problems, but A can only see machine B, "You may not have the permission to use network resources. Please contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission and Access Denied dialog box. I am so anxious to go crazy... There should be no problem with the settings of the two computers. I searched for a lot of solutions to this problem on the internet, and I tried to change it. But I still cannot, which one is proficient in this...

Attached to the solution of online search, refer:

When other machines in the LAN Access this computer, the system prompts: "You may not have the permission to use network resources. Please contact the administrator of this server to check whether you have access permissions and deny access ". I have been searching for it for a long time.

1. Check whether the guest user is enabled

2. Check the Local Security Policy: Security Settings \ local policy user permission assignment \ "Deny access to this computer from the network", and delete the guest

3. Check whether the RestrictAnonymous value in the right window of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlLsa is 0.

Summary of XP interconnection issues

Preface: in fact, there are many such posts on the Internet, but I don't think they are comprehensive or clear. I encountered a problem when I connected the machine last time. I found several articles to find out the problem. Therefore, it is quite comprehensive to write your own articles. The foundation of this article is very low. Try to ensure that people who are not familiar with computers can understand and use it. Please correct me. Thank you. This is the first article about the connection between XP and XP.

1. Whether the hardware is connected

Before connecting the computer, we must first confirm whether the two computers have been connected to the network, that is, whether the hardware is connected. You can use the ping command to check the running status. Use the command ping 172.192.1.2 to manually set the IP addresses of both computers (for example, 172.192.0.1 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and 172.192.0.2 subnet mask) ping 172.192.0.1 (the IP address is 172.192.0.2) to check whether the two computers are connected. If it is connected, check the hardware. For example, if the NIC is good or not, check whether the NIC is good or not.

Specific steps for setting IP addresses:

My computer-control panel-network connection-local connection right-click Properties-General-find TCP/IP protocol-click Properties-General-select to use the following IP address, then fill in the IP address and subnet mask.

2. Unable to see the other party in the network neighbor

Check whether your working group is correct. The specific operations of both parties in the same working group are as follows:

Right-click my computer and choose Properties> computer name to view your workgroup. If you want to modify it, click "change.

3. The phrase "you may not have the permission to use network resources. Please contact the administrator of this server to check whether you have access permissions" appears"

If this is not specified in the description, we will use the default guest account to connect to the machine.

(1) When you click a network neighbor on your computer, the possible reasons are:

① XP's built-in network firewall is not closed. Please close it. The settings are as follows:

My computer-control panel-network connection-local connection right-click Properties-advanced to see, remove the check box, don't worry about it.

(2) The reason why the above words appear when you view the peer in the workgroup computer of the network neighbor but CLICK:

① Congratulations, the reason is that it is on the computer of the other party.

② The other party did not turn off the firewall (its own firewall may be installed later)

③ The other party has not enabled the guest account

④ Choose "my computer"> "Control Panel"> "Administrative Tools"> "Security Settings"> "Local Security Policy"> "refuse to log on to the Internet" In User Privilege assignment. If yes, delete the client.

The other party has made some modifications in the Registry as follows: Start To Run regedit and press enter to find the following path

Whether the value of RestrictAnonymous in the right window of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlLsa is 0

4. Do I have to enable the guest account for connection?

The answer is no. You do not have to enable the guest account to connect to the machine. As long as you are willing, you can even have an administrator account to log in, as long as you change the relevant settings. The settings are as follows:

My computer-control panel-Administrative Tools-Security Settings-Local Security Policy-security option "Network Access: sharing and security mode of Local Accounts" (guest by default) change to "classic. When the host is connected to the other party, you can fill in the user column by yourself. You can use any user on the other party's computer to log in. Note that another security option is "account: Local Accounts with blank passwords can only log on to the console", that is, other accounts on the recipient's computer, for example, the Administrator account password is empty but cannot be logged on. You can disable this item or set a password for the account you want to log on.

5. Questions about the guest account

(I) to log on with a guest account, you must enable the guest account.

You can enable it in two ways. Method 1: Right-click "my computer"> "Control Panel"> "Management Tools"> "Computer Management"> "local user and group"> "user" and choose "guest"> "properties" to remove the check box before "Disabled Account. Method 2: enable guest directly in my computer-control panel-user account. However, you must note that the two methods work the same on the connected machine. However, there are some differences for the local machine, which will be discussed later.

(Ii) knowledge about guest

First, we need to involve three things. First, we can simply use the short name after the above descriptions. A. Open guest in Computer Management-local user and group-user. B. Enable the Guest account in the user account in the control panel. C.
