Introduction of ZBrush Mesh extraction function

Mesh Extraction is a fast extraction method, zbrush® has a wide range of applications in software, it can create new parts for the current model, using the existing geometry, users can quickly and easily create a coat, or helmet and gloves. Even any part required by the role, the mesh extraction function replicates the other grid by isolating the part of the model. It can modify the edges of the extraction grid and have a smooth and flat boundary. The user simply draws a mask in the area of the polygon that you want to create, and then you can apply the mesh extraction function, as shown in figure one, for a scene model made using the grid extraction function, figure Two is the step diagram of the mesh extraction.

Some tips on grid extraction:

The extraction of the mesh is inseparable from the drawing of the mask selection, since it is "extract the mesh from the mask", so familiarize yourself with the mask first. The mask is similar to a mask in PS, and its operating procedures are as follows:

• Press CTRL while pressing the left mouse button on the view to drag and drop, covering the part of the model is the mask of this model. (The black part of the model)

• When a mask is on the model, press CTRL and press the left mouse button to click on the model, blurring the edges of the mask, and then blurring the dots.

• Press CTRL while pressing the left mouse button to click outside the model, and mask inversion.

• Press CTRL and press the left mouse button to drag outside the model to remove the mask.

• Press CTRL and drag the left mouse button on the model to draw a mask on the model.

Put the mouse pointer on the model, click the X key, you can see the position of a small red box at the point where the symmetry, can be a symmetrical painting, can greatly save time.
