Introduction of Map route function in Win8 start screen

With the gradual popularization of Win8, more and more users are beginning to experience this new operating system. However, the WIN8 system has been greatly improved, including a new start screen in the WIN8 system, which is a bright spot, and a variety of Metro apps are preset in the Start screen. Today, there is a "route" feature in the map application in the Win8 Start screen--which can provide a reference for everyone to travel.

In the WIN8 system, click on the Start screen of the "map" software to run, right click on the screen, you can display the Operation menu below the screen, there is "my location" and "route" feature options.

Click on the "route" feature to display the route query interface on the right side of the map interface. Enter the start and end points in the input box (for example, Shanghai, Beijing), click the arrow to the right to start the query route.

After the query, you can display the map from the start point to the end of the road map, at the top of the map will also show the total distance and time, as well as from the beginning to the end of each step of the detailed description.

When you step too far from the starting point to the finish line, you can pull the cross section under the route description to see more step-by-step details about the route.

In general, the WIN8 Start screen map function is a more practical function, not only can be positioned, but also to carry out route search, is a good reference tool for people to travel. Compared with the software which only provides the map function, the map function in the Win8 start screen is more intelligent and novel.
