SharePoint 2013 's search is powerful, especially in the social domain, which is refreshing (such as discovering knowledge, discovering relationships, etc.). As shown below is a SharePoint general search that enables Full-text retrieval of office (including, of course, a lot, such as PDF).
Enable Search Service Application
SharePoint 2013 Server and Foundation all support search, of course Foundation search will be limited. Create a content source
