Introduction to SharePoint 2013 Search features

I've also prepared a lot of new SharePoint 2013 features recently in government, such as SharePoint 2013 search. I'll have a chance to talk about Office Web App,workflow.

SharePoint 2013 's search is powerful, especially in the social domain, which is refreshing (such as discovering knowledge, discovering relationships, etc.). As shown below is a SharePoint general search that enables Full-text retrieval of office (including, of course, a lot, such as PDF).

Enable Search Service Application

SharePoint 2013 Server and Foundation all support search, of course Foundation search will be limited. To perform a search, you need to enable the search Service application in the SharePoint 2013 Central Administration (if not enabled, rerun the side configuration Wizard (Configuration Wizard), as follows:

Create a content source

Click Content sources to create new content sources, select content source types, such as SharePoint Sites (http://skyrim:36405), in which you can configure crawl schedules, such as continuous crawling or incremental crawling, and of course the time to crawl, as shown below. Click Create Plan:
