Generally, the cable slots are arranged around the devices. Currently, the parallel layout of cabinets and into racks is more and more common. Generally, a cable slot is arranged for each cabinet, or a cable slot is shared on the middle aisle of two adjacent cabinets. The former mode is more ideal. For data centers with active floors, the usual practice is to install the cable trough under the active floor. However, with the widespread use of precision air conditioners for air supply under the floor in the high-end machine room, this mode exposes many problems.
Because the equipment is arranged in the data center, the cable slots are configured under the floor for each device. Generally, the height of the cable slots is between 50 and 50 ~ L 00mm, and the height of the active floor is only about 300mm, thus affecting the smooth air conditioning duct. The more the trough, the worse the air supply effect (there are usually strong electrical trough under the floor ). In addition, the layout of lines, especially strong electrical lines, under the active floor also increases fire hazards. electrical faults may lead to fire sources, and human feelings under the floor are not easily discovered quickly, even if a conventional fire temperature and smoke detector is configured, the air supply under the floor does not reflect it quickly. There are already many fire accidents that occur under the active floor. Therefore, many data centers, especially in the telecom industry, generally adopt the online routing mode.
The layout of devices must be used for cabling. This layout is mainly applicable to standard Rack Layout, and the cabinet size, especially the height, must be basically the same to ensure beautiful appearance. Use a cable trough for cabling. There are two installation modes for the cable trough: The bracket is hoisted on the top and the bracket is supported on the ground. Support on the ground is prone to fight between the bracket and the Cabinet. Pay attention to it during design.
There are two forms of on-line trough: Open Ladder Type Bridge Type and closed. The open ladder is the mainstream application. During the design, the layout of each cabinet is set one way according to the overall layout of the cabinets in the data center plane. The advantage of the open ladder is that it is easy to maintain. Because no extra holes are required, it is very convenient to increase or decrease the line; no floor lift is required, and only a ladder is required for implementation, with a small workload. Easy to detect faults. Unlike the closed cable trough under the floor, it is easy to observe the fault point, especially the fire hazard. Its disadvantage is that it has higher requirements for anti-rat.
The open ladder frame is usually considered together with strong power. Generally, the upper, middle, and lower layers are used as channels for strong electrical lines, copper lines, and optical cable lines. Because a large number of optical jumper cables, especially in the data room, are relatively fragile, the Cable trays are often enclosed and such layout is easy to manage. The distance between each layer is no less than 300mm. If the height of the data center is not high enough, you can also reduce the number of layers. The layout is left and right. Pay attention to the standard control of the distance between strong and weak current ladder frame. If the distance still cannot be reached, you can consider using a strong electrical screen or closed.
Information Point installation mode for integrated cabling of data centers
According to the device installation mode and decoration method, there are several installation methods for the information outlet. If there is an overhead antistatic floor in the data room, there are several device layout modes below.
(1) Installation of tower devices. Install the information outlet under the active floor. In this case, the installation height of the socket is generally controlled on the upper surface of the socket to the lower surface of the active floor at a distance of about l 0cm. The installation mode of the socket on the floor surface can also be used. Note: Do not place the socket on the aisle between devices; otherwise, it is easy to touch it; the link of the socket is active in the socket junction box, the plug-in and press-down of the socket are prone to looseness. We recommend that you set up no more than two information points for the other socket. Otherwise, the space in the socket installation box is crowded, which may cause problems such as loose wiring and plug-in failure. The size and depth of the installation box should be larger. The main advantage of the floor socket is that it is easy to open and close, so it is suitable for some temporary use, such as debugging and inspection. However, most of the equipment in the data room must run continuously for 24 hours, and the advantages of floor sockets cannot be used.
(2) terminal of the console. The Installation Method of the information outlet is the same as described above. In this case, it is more convenient to use the floor socket.
(3) rack-mounted servers. In this case, it is no longer appropriate to install the information outlet under the floor, because one information outlet panel can only be installed 2 ~ There are four socket modules, which means there are too many Sockets for cabinets with dozens of information points. In addition, the line from the socket to the server needs to be introduced into the cabinet from the active floor, and the opening under the cabinet needs to attract others. However, after the cabinet is fixed, it is difficult to open the active floor under the Cabinet, this will cause troubles for future maintenance. Therefore, we recommend that you use the cabinet-type RJ45 distribution frame for information point installation of server cabinets. A 2U distribution frame (including the management rack) can provide 16 ~ The 32-port information point capacity can meet the needs of most cabinets. In addition, it is easy to manage and the installation effect is neat and elegant because it is directly installed in the cabinet. The distribution rack can be installed behind the cabinet because the socket interface of the server is usually at the rear.
(4) You can also install multiple information Sockets (86 panel) on the vertical cable trough at the rear of the Cabinet side by side. The installation price is slightly lower, but there is no distribution frame which is compact and beautiful.
If no antistatic floor is installed, you can directly install the information outlet on the wall or remove the slot on the ground.
(1) terminal of the console. It is recommended that the console be arranged by the wall, and the socket panel be installed on the wall.
(2) rack-mounted servers. The above cabling mode is used, and the socket is still installed in the Cabinet or the distribution frame is used.
