Many development tools and vendor SDKs will be used in the process of learning and using J2's. Below are some simple introductions:
I. Development tools:
Currently, common development tools include Jbuilder and Eclipse. Of course, some are developed using text editors.
A) Jbuilder
Jbuilder is a Java development tool developed by Borland, covering all aspects of Java development. Of course, Jbuilder also provides better support for j2_development. The latest version is Jbuilder 2005.

B) Eclipse
Eclipse is an open-source development tool that can be used to develop various applications. Install the EclipseME plug-in if you want to develop a J2EE application in Eclipse. The latest version of Eclipse is 3.01, and the latest version of EclipseME is 0.60.

II. Vendor SDK:
Many mobile phone manufacturers have extended the standard SDKs provided by Sun, such as adding class libraries that suit their own characteristics. SDKs of different vendors are as follows:
A) SUN SDK
The SDK provided by SUN is the basis of other SDKs. It contains a common class library named j2_wireless Toolkit. The latest version is 2.2.
