When using a windows system, we often access the path represented by "% *** %. What does this mean? The operating system or software may be stored in different locations on different computers, and the directory names may be different, therefore, the path is represented by the variable "% *** %", which is called the PATH variable.
The meaning of the PATH variable:
% SystemDrive %
The disk directory where your system is located, such as C :\
% Windir %, % windows %, % SystemRoot %
Windows directory and system root directory. C: \ windows in xp and C: \ WinNt in 2000
% System %
The directory where the system is located. C: \ windows \ system32 under XP, C: \ winnt \ system32 under 2000
% Temp %
Directory of the temporary system folder. % Windir % \ temp
% Userprofile %
The configuration file directory of the current user. Such as C: \ Documents ents and Settings
% ProgramFiles %
The installation directory of the Program Files Program. Such as C: \ Program Files
