   Small size and powerful functions
  
SIPS is small and encapsulated in a 6.5 inch x 5 inch x 5 inch x 10. Mini PC chassis.    Integrate multiple systems
  
SIPS integrates multiple functions such as the VoIP/voice messaging system with the functions of routing, firewall, file service, and print service (2 ).

Through the SIP protocol, SIPS can interwork with IP phones and traditional telephones based on private group switches (PBXs). it can provide automatic services such as SIP, IP address, and PBX, and has the VoIP-PSTN gateway function, you can remotely send voice emails to users. SIPS can use the SIP phone to implement the system's conversation with other users. with the SIP extension adapter, it can support up to 20 normal phone users.
  
SIPS can provide Wan routing, DHCP service, firewall network address translation (NAT), port filtering and forwarding, serial port service, and file storage up to GB, it plays the role of a small server and has high performance.
  
   Powerful functions come from Linux
  
SIPS software is developed based on Linux Kernel 2.4.20. it draws on extensive experience in Linux Kernel and application development and uses many open source code packages with strong custom functions, in addition, it has added many patches provided by the Linux community, including file security and new device driver support.
  
The R & D personnel developed all the Linux interfaces of the system and the drivers of custom devices. Currently, the system has added remote Internet connections and branch office functions.
  
Based on Linux, SIPS also provides automatic network and telephone monitoring tools, webpage-based graphical configuration interface, DHCP service, and system status display and log functions, making the system easy to install and maintain.
  
According to the plan, developers are developing software with additional features, such as video surveillance, distributed IP Group switches, email and fax services, intercom, and support for up to 800 users. These additional functions are free for registered users, reducing the cost of adding system functions to SIPS users later.
  
   Why Linux?
  
Why does SIPS use Linux as the system platform? Fleisher, CEO of the company, believes that Linux is the only reliable, low-cost, and acceptable operating system in the market. Linux has reliable services and applications, covering all the components of the system, and requires less investment from prototyping to product stereotypes.
  
Of course, Linux is not perfect. There are too many similar implementation methods for the same component, and it is difficult to make the right choice without in-depth research. In addition, it does not support new hardware devices, and some software does not perform good tests on new hardware.
