SQL Server Administration Tool Set

SQL Server 2005 greatly simplifies management complexity by providing an integrated management console to manage and monitor SQL Server relational databases, Integration services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Notification Services, and SQL Mobile on distributed servers and databases. The database administrator can perform the following tasks: writing and executing queries, viewing server objects, managing objects, monitoring system activities, and viewing online help. The SQL Server Administration toolset includes a development environment that uses T-SQL, MDX, XMLA, and SQL Server Mobile versions to complete writing, editing, and managing scripts and stored procedures. The SMO object model is more secure, reliable, and scalable than the DMO in previous versions of SQL Server.
