The trunk subsystem in the integrated Cabling System of Intelligent Buildings is like the human neural hub system and is responsible for the stable operation of the entire cabling system. Therefore, in the engineering design stage, we must strictly follow the standards, there is no negligence.

In view of this, the State has also issued relevant regulations to add each step of the project to the ranks of standard specifications, in order to ensure the smooth completion of the Integrated Wiring System Project. The national regulations on trunk subsystem design are stipulated in the general wiring system engineering design specification (GB? 50311-2007) clearly stated. The following describes the specific specifications.

First, the total cable logarithm and total fiber core number required by the trunk subsystem should meet the actual information requirements of the main project users and have appropriate backup capacity. Trunk cable and set cable and optical cable, and act as backup routes for each other.

2. Capacity requirements and configurations required for trunk cable and trunk cable shall comply with the following requirements.

1. For the voice-to-speech business, the logarithm of the trunk cable of the big logarithm should be configured with one pair of lines according to the 8-digit module of each phone, at least 10% of the standby line pairs are reserved on the basis of the total demand line pairs. For example, the 8-bit module of voice information points connects to the ISDN user terminal device and uses the S interface (when the 4-line interface is used ), the corresponding trunk cable should be configured based on two pairs of cables, and its backup line pairs should also be added in proportion.

2. For data services, a HUB or switch (SW) group should be used (one group should be composed of four hubs or switches ), or set one master port for each HUB or SW device. One backup port should be set for each group of network configurations or each 4 network devices. When the trunk port is an electrical port, it should be configured in 4-to-line capacity; if it is an optical port, it should be configured in 2-core optical fiber capacity.

3. When the horizontal optical fiber cables from the work area to the telecom room are extended to the optical distribution equipment (BD/CD) of the equipment room, the capacity of the trunk cable shall include the capacity of the Extended Horizontal optical fiber. Do not omit the capacity to avoid omission or missing calculation.

4. The cabling equipment of Intelligent Buildings and Construction Groups, and the cable and jumper configurations of various equipment should be the same as the above-mentioned rules of the distribution subsystem.

Third, the trunk cable of the trunk subsystem should be a short and secure route. The trunk cable should adopt an independent end-to-end point-to-point supply method. It is the simplest and most direct wiring method, each trunk cable of the Telecommunications room is required to be directly laid from the equipment room to the telecommunications room on the specified floor. Sometimes the trunk cable can also be terminated in descending order of branches.

Branch descent ends with a large logarithm trunk cable to support the capacity of several communication cables between telecommunications. It is usually divided into several small cables through the cable connector protection box, they are separately laid to the corresponding telecommunications room, and finally connected to the destination's wiring and connection equipment.

Fourth, when the user telephone switches and computer hosts in the smart building are set in different floors or equipment rooms, different trunk cables should be used, for example, a cable or optical cable meets the information requirements of the transmitter and data respectively.

Fifth, in intelligent buildings, if the floor area is extremely large and multiple telecommunications rooms need to be set up on the same floor, to ensure flexible and mobile communication networks, you can consider setting up trunk routes between telecommunications networks, in order to communicate with each other and support each other.
