Introduction to the detailed use of WPS2012 paragraph layouts

For users who often sit in front of the computer to organize documents, one of the most common operations may be to document the text paragraph formatting, such as the first line of indentation, paragraph front, paragraph distance, line spacing and so on. First, paragraph layout function entrance

Position the mouse anywhere in the paragraph, and you can see the paragraph layout icon on the left. Click on it to see that the paragraph is in the selected state. At this point, you can see the new paragraph Layout tab appearing in the Ribbon, as shown in Figure 1.

II. Common paragraph adjustments

After you click the paragraph layout icon, the paragraph is selected and surrounded by a rectangular box. The general paragraph adjustment depends on it can be completed.

First line indent and left and right indent: Moves the mouse to the short vertical line in the top left corner of the rectangle box, and the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow. Drag the mouse to adjust the number of characters in the first line indent. The short vertical bar below it is used to adjust the number of left indent characters. Move the mouse to the left and right side of the small triangle, drag the rectangle around the two vertical bar, you can adjust the left indent character number.

Paragraph before and after paragraph: There are also adjustment handles between the top and bottom two lines. Adjusts the number of lines before the line is the spacing before the segment, while dragging the lower horizontal line adjusts the number of spacing lines after the segment. As shown in Figure 2.

Leading: In the Line Spacing feature group on the Ribbon Paragraph Layout tab, there are two less obvious "+", "-" buttons, as shown in Figure 3.

By clicking on them, you can see the adjustment effect of the line spacing of the paragraph in real time. Each time you click, increase or decrease the line spacing by 0.25 times times respectively.
