TP-LINK security APP supports online login and offline mode to meet the monitoring needs of different environments, as shown in the following figure:
Online mode-used for remote monitoring
Online logon is mainly used to connect a mobile phone to the Internet by connecting to the Internet through 3G/4G or other means. When using online logon, mobile phones, NVR, and IPC are required to be connected to the Internet.
Offline Mode-View monitoring on the same LAN
The offline mode is applicable to mobile phones, NVR, and IPC in the same LAN environment. In this case, devices do not need to connect to the Internet. Run the TP-LINK security APP directly click offline mode to enter the interface, no need to fill in the login password. The following describes how to use the offline mode:

Open the APP and click offline mode. On the APP's real-time preview page, click. In the upper right corner, search for nearby devices and find the IPC and NVR in the same LAN. Select NVR, as shown in the following figure.
Enter the NVR user name and password, and clickAdd, As shown in the following figure.

After successful addition, click back to the selection channel interface, click NVR, select the IPC you want to watch, and click OK, as shown in the figure below.
Now you can see the IPC monitoring screen.
