In bartender 10.1, the Scale Display Control Properties dialog box specifies the properties of the balance display control on the data entry form. You can access this dialog box by using one of the following methods:
1. In the template design area, open the Properties dialog box for objects that will enter their data when printing. Select the data source you want. On the Open property page, select the Transformations tab. Click the icon next to the data entry control. In the Data Entry Control dialog box, select or create a scale display control. Click Properties to open the Scale Display Control Properties dialog box.
2, in the design of data entry form, select the required bartender scale display control. Double-click the control to open the scale Display Control Properties dialog box. Alternatively, you can right-click and choose Properties.
Use the Scale property page to set up and install scales, define how the scale displays the control's appearance, and specify the unit of measure for the scale. This property page contains a preview area that shows how the scale display control is displayed on the data entry form based on the current settings.
The configuration of the scale
Scale: A scale that defines a bartender connection to receive a weight value. Select from the list of installed scales, or select new to open the Add Scale Wizard, and then add a new scale. Select Properties to open the Scale Properties dialog box, which you can use to modify the settings for the selected scale.
Scale control Properties
Appearance: Defines the appearance of the scale display control on the data entry form. Select the icon to open the Scale Appearance dialog box, which you can use to configure the appearance of the scale and scale display controls.
Unit of Weight: a unit of measure for a specified scale.
Automatic capture of stable weight: When this option is enabled, the bartender is instructed to automatically record the stable weight. The Advanced tab of the Scale Properties dialog box defines the variable that bartender uses to determine the stable weight.
Print after capture: When this option is enabled, the document is automatically printed when a stable weight is recognized. With this option, you no longer need to press the data to enter the print on the form after capturing the stable weight.
Start test to determine whether bartender can connect to the specified scale using the connection settings defined in the Scale Properties dialog box.
Called settings: Opens the Called Settings dialog box, which allows you to configure the scales installed on your system and install additional scales.
