The basic principles of the tomato working method:

• Tomato clocks are inseparable-there may be two interruptions:

• A task cannot contain more than 7 tomatoes.

This not only simplifies complex problems, but also makes the statistical results more accurate. After a large task is dispersed, the number of tasks is increased, which increases the value of time.
• After each tomato clock starts, it cannot be paused.

Therefore, once the tomato clock starts, it cannot be paused. if the task is interrupted by force majeure, the tomato will be voided and a new tomato will be re-opened.
• If an activity takes a short time and does not have a pomodoro, it can be merged with other activities.
  • Some work may be completed without a tomato, which can be processed in several ways:
    • For a task close to a tomato clock, you can check, review, and summarize the work that has been done until the tomato clock is over.
    • For less than half a tomato clock, you can consider merging it with other tasks and completing it in one tomato clock.
• The tomato workday method is not used for activities during holidays and off periods.
  • Holidays and breaks are the time you relax, so you don't need to focus on it. When you are resting, do not think about any work-related things, and try to ensure that your brain is fully rested. You can go to the toilet, have a cup of water, and go up meager, chat with colleagues, but never think about work any more.
