Before publishing the application, we need to register the developer account to be able to publish the application. We can login to https://appdev.microsoft.com/StorePortals/the URL to register the developer account, and we can click here to browse through the detailed steps of the developer account registration given by MSDN. So how do you publish a Windows Store application after you've registered your developer account?

Windows Store App Publishing process

1, open the application that you want to upload using Visual Studio 2012, and then click the Project ‐> App Store ‐> to create the application package;

2, select "Yes" in the selection box, click Login;

3. In the pop-up login box, enter the Windows App Store developer account, click Login again;
