Involved in overclocking-desperate overclocking

A few days ago, I upgraded the memory to 100 MB ddr400. Because the CPU's external frequency is MHz, the memory operating frequency is reduced to MHz, which is equivalent to the ddr266 operating frequency.
Because a "free lunch"-the PC Magazine Chinese Publishing House sent me three "computer time and space" magazines (I don't know where they found my address, and I am so depressed ), I saw a piece of "Quick Start-play power sleep", I want to try the STR sleep function mentioned in it (it is said that it is better than normal STD sleep ). But I changed it in the BIOS settings. It is invalid. It takes about half a day to wait for 512 of the memory to sleep. Forget it and decide to set it back ......
I found a frequency/voltage option during a few moments in the BIOS settings. I found that there was a CPU outbound frequency setting, presumably this is the so-called place where overclock can be set. In the setting menu, it specifies the maximum and minimum frequency ranges allowed, 100-132 (MHz), because I didn't understand it at first, I randomly set 120. after entering the system, I can see that the CPU clock speed has gone up, from the original 1.7 GHz (2.04 MHz external frequency x 17 Frequency Doubling) to GHz (MHz external frequency x 17 Frequency Doubling ), I used the cpuz test to find that the memory frequency has also increased to MHz, but unfortunately I felt that the headphones were surprisingly quiet (there was slight current noise in the headphones before ), I glanced at the taskbar-The 'loudspeakers were gone-I found that the system had no sound, but the sound card could not work if I checked the driver. I thought it would be a disaster caused by high frequency.
Before I set it back, I checked some information about CPU overclocking, and I had some gains. What kind of Intel CPU cannot be set to frequency doubling, the standard operating frequency of the system is 100,133,166 MHz (sound cards, NICS, and video cards may not work properly under the operating frequency of the non-standard quasi-system ). 132 is really an ND number. It's just a little different from the 133 standard frequency. I just went on strike when I set up 132 and connected to the video card. No way, let's go back and go back to my GHz era.
