IOS 5 beta5 Upgrade tutorial

I. preparations:
1. Upgrade ios5 requires iTunes 10.5 Beta or later, and iTunes 10.5 beta1/2/3/4/5: http://www.app43.com/thread-22663-1-1.html. (Note: iOS 5 beta5 must be upgraded with iTunes 10.5 Beta 5 ).
2. Download the iOS 5 beta5 firmware.

Note: For Unicom contract machines, use iOS 5 beta5 of GSM.
3. The original version is activated only after the device passes the udid authentication! You need to add the machine's udid to the developer account. The procedure is as follows: log on to the Apple developer website → Dev centers → IOS provisioning portal → get your application on an IOS with the development provisioning assistant → Launch Assistant → select your Apple id → enter a new udid device, follow the prompts to complete registration. Of course, there are no developer accounts on the Internet that can also be activated. For details about this method, I have not tried it:
Activation Method:
A. Press home to activate speech recognition.
B. Press home again to activate an emergency call.
C. Click an emergency call. When switching the interface, use the three hands to draw from top to bottom.
D. The message center should appear smoothly.
E. Click the weather plug-in to start the weather app.
F. Click the Home Key to see if the desktop has arrived? So far, activation is complete!

2. Upgrade to iOS 5 beta5

Step 1: download and install itunes10.5 (only English version is available currently. Uninstall the original iTunes on your computer before installation)
Step 2: Run iTunes and press shift to "Restore" to download the ios5beta firmware file.
Step 3: Wait...
Step 4: After the recovery process is completed automatically, the mobile phone will automatically enter the activation interface (you do not need to connect to iTunes), one step until the udid activation prompt
If your mobile phone's udid has been authorized by the developer account, this step will be skipped automatically.

So far, the upgrade has been completed successfully.

Note: If the 3194 error occurs during the upgrade, you only need to remove the 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com in hosts.
