1.1 hardware and software requirements

Of course, the other consequence is that iPhone developers generally have higher salaries than Android. Therefore, if you have made it clear, prepare the following devices.

If you still have financial conditions, purchase iMac (Apple all-in-one machine) or MacBook or Mac air (Apple notebook ). Of course, you can also purchase a cheaper Mac Mini for learning.

In any case, an itouch is required. Of course, it is best to have both iPhone and iPad.

Ensure that the MAC system is 10.7. The software version of IOS devices must be 5.0 or later.

After the above hardware equipment is installed, the software is ready.

First, try to use MAC systems and iOS devices as much as possible. This book is a programming book, so the first premise is that you must use MAC systems and iOS devices. Second, using more iOS devices helps you understand IOS programming and get programming inspiration from other programs.

 

1.2 register a Development Account

With the above devices, you also need to download the programming ide tool and SDK.

To download ide tools and sdks, you must have an apple Development Account. The developer account can be of the following two types: free of charge. You can download ide tools and sdks, sample code, and documents. However, you cannot download the beta SDK, debug the program online, or publish the program to the app store. Therefore, a paid Development Account is required in many cases. There are two payment grades: $99 a year and $299 a year.

You need to enter a lot of content on this page. The email address is your development account. Please register with your own email address with a high security level. In the first two fields of personal inforation, which are the first name and last name, we recommend that you use English, because it will be used in many places in the future. Click "continue" to go to the next page.

This page is optional. In which Apple platforms doyou develop? Select all that apply select IOS. Other options are based on your actual situation. Click "continue" to go to the next page.

Read the development agreement carefully on this page and click agree. Click continue to go to the next page,

Log in to your mailbox, Apple will send a verification email containing a code to your mailbox, enter the verification code and choose to continue, you can complete the registration. In this way, you can have a free developer account.

Use safari to open the website http://developer.apple.com/iphone, find the log in button on the page, and click to log in with the account we just registered.

After logging in, you can see the download link of xcode. Note that you must download different xcode versions based on your Mac system version. The mac10.7 version is named lion, and the mac10.6 version is snowleopard. The ios sdk contained in xcode4.2 is 5.0, And the ios sdk contained in xcode 4.1 and 4.0 is 4.3. We recommend that you download xcode4.2. Otherwise, many examples in this book cannot run.

The new xcode is downloaded for free through appstore. After several clicks, you can see it.

After the free button is clicked on the page above, it will become the install app. After you click it again, enter your development account and password. If you use the appstore for the first time, you will be asked to confirm some information.

After the download is complete, there is a DMG file under your system's downloads. The DMG file is the installation package under the Mac. Double-click to start the installation.

On the interface above, you can select skip or wait for verification. On the next page, double-click the xcode icon to start installation.

The installation process is skipped here. You only need to select Continue or agree. Generally, the installation can be completed in 10 minutes. You can find a developer directory under the system drive letter, open the directory, find applications, and see xcode and other applications, add this application to the dock.
