Recently, a small partner asked me how to make an IPA package distributed to testers, although the online tutorials are many, but also very miscellaneous, not a more complete explanation. Take advantage of the work, say how to generate an IPA package? There are two ways to do this.
The first method:
1) As for the configuration release certificate and adhoc description file, it is no longer a statement, download down and double-click installation. (PS: When generating adhoc profile, be careful to check all the devices, only the device described by the file can be tested. If it is a business account, you do not need to add the Udid of the device).
2) Next, start configuring the work in Xcode (including publishing certificates and profiles), and note the parts of the graph marked with red circles. The name can be customized and is generally named Adhoc.
3) Next select TARGETS to set, such as: (Ps:debug and release in the interim do not change)
4) Select Product-scheme-editscheme or directly press the shortcut key command+shift+ comma, the following interface will appear, set to Adhoc. When the settings are complete, click ' Close ' in the lower right corner.
5) Xcode connect to the phone to select the real machine, select product-archive (this option is not selectable under the simulator), and then pop-up interface, select Export, Save for Ad Hoc deloyment, Next, such as:
6) Then select your development team:
7) Finally export to the desktop is an IPA file, sent to your friends to drag into itunes can be run on the phone.
The second method:
The first three steps are the same method.
4) Set Adhoc, Run, Build Configuration. (Ps:archive does not need to be set up)
5) Compile, if, build Success. Show in Finder, drag the app in the folder directly into itunes, then select App---show in finder, itunes Importing to the desktop is an IPA package.
