If you enter an error password six times or more, you will see any of the following messages:
IPhone has been deactivated
If you have previously synchronized the device with ITunes, you may be able to reset the password by restoring the device:
Connect the device to the computer that you normally sync with, and then open ITunes.
Note: If ITunes prompts you to enter a password, try another computer that is already synchronized with it. Otherwise, go to the "If you have never synchronized your device to ITunes, or you do not have access to the computer" section.
If the device is still inactive, or itunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with itunes.
If you have chosen to encrypt the backup, it will contain the password. Deactivate the backup encryption before restoring from backup.
After the backup and synchronization operations are complete, select Restore from backup and select the most recent device backup.
If you never sync your device with ITunes, or you don't have access to your computer
If you see one of the following warnings, you will need to erase the data on the device:
"ITunes could not connect to [device] because it has been locked with a password." "You must enter a password on [device] before it can be used with iTunes." ”
"You have not chosen to let [device] trust this computer"
If you have enabled Find my iPhone, you can use remote erase to erase the contents of the device. If you have used ICloud to back up, you may be able to restore the latest backup and reset your password after you erase the device contents.
Alternatively, put the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the contents of the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but keep the other end of the cable connected to the computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Hold down the sleep/wake button for a few seconds until the Red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
Press and hold the main screen button while reconnecting the USB cable to the device. The device should be turned on.
Continue holding down the main screen button until the "Connect to ITunes" screen appears.
ITunes will remind you that it detects a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.
