The IPS VLAN Group is a IPS6.0 feature, where VLAN group blending mode requires a VLAN tag when configuring mirroring, which is not the default in GNS, and VLAN group online mode is an overlay of online mode and VLAN group. Configure the online interface pair first, then configure VLAN Group on the online interface pair to tell the IPs which VLANs are running on it, and support to send different VLAN data to different virtual sensor.
A. VLAN Group blending mode:
When you need a switch to mirror the VLAN tag, IPS can set up multiple virtual sensor, each sensor handle the traffic of a particular VLAN.
Two. VLAN Group Online mode:
Vlna Group Online mode requires the switch to connect the IPs sersor port to the trunk interface, and the VLAN group interface pair is required on the IPs.
