On July 15, September 5 (Beijing Time on July 15, September 6), DEVCO, a development tool split from Borland, lasted nearly half a year and finally launched a series of products named after Turbo. This series is called:
Turbo Explorer
It includes four products: Turbo Delphi, Turbo C ++, Turbo delphi.net, And Turbo C #. Each product has two versions: Professional and explorer, which are free of charge.
Since the day before yesterday, several Borland fans have been eagerly awaiting reading and opening the webpage for download as soon as they went to work yesterday. I was so angry to download all four products. Because I really don't like. net, I haven't installed. NET Framework since the last time my computer crashed and reinstalled. In fact, I only pay attention to the four turbo products Turbo Delphi and Turbo C ++ this time, probably because of the existence of the other two products, Turbo explorer is based on Borland.. Net developed by Galileo IDE. No way, you have to download prereqs and install those. Net stuff:
Except for Windows patches and ie6sp1, I installed them in the following order:
MSXML, dotnetfx, ndp1.1sp1, dotnetsdk, J #
I wanted to install both Turbo Delphi and Turbo C ++, and found that they could not coexist. One of them could only be installed on one machine. After repeated consideration, I gave up TD's choice of TC.
Just now, Turbo Explorer uses Galileo IDE, so it seems that there is no essential difference with Delphi 2006, and even the installation directory is the same as bds/4.0. The running interface is basically the same. After reading it, we split bds4 into four parts, and then reduced some, such as the pile of things without ALM. Unfortunately, most of the refactor functions have also been refined. I don't know if it is because I use the free Explorer version.
Other things are still being tried.
The current Turbo is completely different from the turbo Of The Year. Now Borland is no longer the former Borland, but DEVCO seems to be re-retrieving the former Borland.
Wait and see.
