Before using the extender, you need a wireless router (or all-in-one machine) that can access the internet. This is the prerequisite for expansion. As shown in the following figure:
This article introduces how to use notebook computer to operate TL-WA832RE to enhance the wireless signal.

Plug the extender into a power outlet in a proper position, and connect the laptop to the wireless signal of the extender. Default extended signal:
TP-LINK_RE_XXXX
Where
XIndicates the last four digits of the MAC address. You can view the MAC address on the extension housing tag.
Note:If the default signal is not found, it may have been set as a relay. Reset the extensioner.
Open the computer browser, clear the address bar, and enter

After the browser displays the extended login box, set 6 ~ 15-bit management password. This password will be used to log on to the management extender later. Remember to click

Enter the wireless password for the extended signal

Note:By default, the SSID of the extender is the same as the Wireless name of the primary network.

Now, the scaling operation settings are complete. Let's confirm that the scaling is successful.
Observe the extended indicator. If it is green or orange, the expansion is successful, as shown below:
Tip: OrangeIt indicates that the expansion device is too close to or too far from the master router. You can adjust the location as appropriate.
In this case, the default signal of the extended router disappears and has become the same as that of the primary router. The Wireless name and password are the same. Your mobile phone can connect to the Internet with the extended signal.
