This is my original, mainly for their own in the process of using the Dell switch to appear and solve problems.
These problems are almost always unresolved by Dell engineers, so I have a long-standing opinion about Dell support Services, and I hope that Dell engineers can learn from the customer's experience.
The following 6 are now remembered:
The communication problem with the default vlan1 for the 1.dell switch and the Cisco switch.
A brief description of the stacking of the 2.dell switches.
3.dell Switch syslog configuration issue.
A brief description of the AAA configuration for the 4.dell switch.
A spanning tree between a 5.dell switch and a Cisco switch.
Dynamic VLAN configuration for 6.dell switches.

The communication problem with the default vlan1 for the 1.dell switch and the Cisco switch.
The default Vlan1,cisco is not tag, and the Dell switch is the default tag, so the vlan1 of the Dell switch and the Cisco switch is not communicated by default.
The solution is to use other Vlanid instead of the default VLAN, or configure the Dell switch to not do tag.
A brief description of the stacking of the 2.dell switches.
When the Dell switch is stacked, the first machine opened by default is master.
The Dell switch stack does not support hot swap, but it supports adding switches to the tiered system.
3.dell Switch syslog configuration issue.
Dell switch when configuring Syslog, if the interface IP is configured, then the IP management VLAN can not crawl log information, so when configuring the Syslog server, the IP should be the interface IP instead of the Management VLAN IP.
A brief description of the AAA configuration for the 4.dell switch.
After the Dell switch is configured with the user and enable password, the 5-series switch uses Telnet to enter the Enable mode only by entering a username, while the 6-series and 8-series switches support Telnet user and enable passwords.
A spanning tree between a 5.dell switch and a Cisco switch.
This is a very troubling question, the recommendations are as follows: If the network is relatively independent, try to close the Cisco and Dell Connection ports of the bar bpdu-fuliter{word seems to be wrong, and the Dell switch port because the loop is closed after the default is shutdown will not automatically recover.
Dynamic VLAN configuration for 6.dell switches.
DELL6 system switch and above support based on MAC address dynamic VLAN, configuration is also relatively simple, can refer to Dell's configuration manual, we currently use the dell6248, entries over 200 without any problems.
Write so much first, later want to do to add!
