Abstract: ITSM and ITIL are becoming more and more popular.

Some people think that this is a new technology. Some people think that ITSM is just an application of MIS, and some people think that it is nothing more than network management + workflow.

In fact, the emergence of ITSM should be viewed throughout the IT industry. It can be said that the emergence of ITSM is mapped to a new round of changes in the IT industry, and will grow along with the changes in the IT industry structure and value chain; or even, it can be said that, ITSM is a sign of the maturity of the IT industry.
