It went through a horrible afternoon. This is a big test of character-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. Original Author: 221B BakerStreet
I was still proud of ubuntu yesterday. I encountered a problem when I started the system today. ubuntu prompts that/partition is full and depressing. At the beginning, I tried to save resources, I only gave/3G space, but it is not enough now. As I will not adjust the partition size in ubuntu, And the partition software in win does not seem to support the ext3 format, I decided to delete ubuntu, repartition

First, we fixed the mbr boot under win, removed grub, and then prepared to use the partition magician to delete the ubuntu partition. However, we accidentally kicked the wire and shut down the computer.

Reboot, system self-check found disk error, after repair into the system, thought it was okay, but when you open PQ again, it is true that my hard disk is bad.

Depressed, ignore him, and go to a Partition Manager. Fortunately, Partition Manager can recognize my hard disk, use it to delete the ubuntu Partition, and then draw 6 GB space from disk D and disk G, prepare to install ubuntu together with the previous space, and start partitioning after restart.

After the partition is completed, the original D disk is N after the restart. The blank space is separated, which is mistaken for partition D by the system. I have installed Symantec Endpoint Protection. He has a residual file on drive D, which cannot be deleted, and adsl cannot be used if he is deleted.

Now the D disk is N disks, and the value pointing to Symantec Endpoint Protection in the registry is not changed (still D disk). Therefore, the system thinks that Symantec Endpoint Protection cannot be found, and naturally I cannot access the Internet.

So I changed the drive letter under the Disk Manager and found that I could not change the N drive letter to the D Drive. I want to change the Protection value pointing to Symantec Endpoint in the Registry to N disks, but I cannot change it. It was changed just after it was changed.

Think about it. It may be because the Partition Manager directly enters the system after the Partition is completed.

After the reboot, xp started self-check, and then the blank space on the disk that was mistakenly assumed to be D was gone, and then the disk manager set N to D, and then the Internet will be available after the restart.

Then it went smoothly and made up 14 GB for ubuntu.

Based on the above events, I have summarized the following:
1. ubuntu occupies more disk space than I imagined
2. It's really hard to uninstall symantec in the future.
3. You must restart the Partition using the Partition Manager so that xp can perform self-check (it is directly imported into the system by default)

In this article, we will warn you that you are a little reckless today.

Now, reinstall my ubuntu.
