ITT introduces a Cm3 connector that simplifies the internal wiring of the servo motor. The series connectors are designed for small and medium-sized servo motors and can replace two bulky traditional Circular connectors. The main advantage is that the servo motor connection process is reduced to four steps. ITT says the low-specification Cm3 connector greatly reduces installation costs, and its size and weight are only half the design of traditional Circular connectors. The Cm3 connector achieves high reliability by completely sealed and shielded form, and its simple wiring is said to reduce the assembly and installation time of the motor.

The Cm3 series connectors are designed for motors. The flange (flange) is 100 x 100mm or smaller. The Cm3 series connectors can resist strong vibration and strong impact. The connectors adopt a seal protection grade of IP67, the Jack contains a power insulator and three feedback insulators, each of which carries 6 Signal contact points separated by a metal shielding wall; in addition, there are two sealing portals for power supply and feedback wires, and a first-in-touch electrical connection to the housing and then out-of-ground contact.

The Cm3 connector meets all requirements of the DIN EN61984 Safety Standard. The rated signal voltage is 48 V and the operating voltage is as high as 630 V. The rated signal current is 2A, and the rated power current is 18A. The Cm3 connector can be used in harsh environments through the use of die casting zinc shell, fluorine rubber seals, high temperature Insulator Materials and high-quality contacts.
