Ixchariot is a commercial testing tool that predicts the performance of network devices and systems in real-world workloads by simulating real-life application flows, and is recognized in the field of application-level performance testing. For enterprises, Ixchariot can be used in equipment selection, network construction and acceptance, daily maintenance and other 3 stages, providing equipment network performance assessment, fault location and SLA benchmark services.

The Ixchariot test system provides detailed network performance evaluation and equipment testing by simulating hundreds of protocols on thousands of network nodes. The Ixchariot can be used to comprehensively evaluate the performance characteristics of various applications running on a wired or wireless network, and the Ixchariot test system includes:

• Ixchariot Control Console (console)

• Test endpoint (performance Endpoint)

• Ixprofile

Can be installed on an ordinary PC or server, but the console is currently only installed on the Windows operating system, and endpoint supports a variety of mainstream operating systems.

2. How to test network throughput

During network maintenance, you often encounter the following issues:

• How can I confirm that the newly installed network link is achieving the expected performance (for example, 2mb,10mb,100mb,1000mbps)?
• For a network that is in use, if its performance is much slower than normal, how do you find bottlenecks in the network?
• When an enterprise wants to add some kind of application, how to know whether the existing bandwidth meets the requirements?

2.1. Throughput-oriented testing: test maximum throughput between two points

Make sure that the IP address of the 2 node that endpoint starts, configures the test:

Click Select Script to choose HIGH_PERFORMANCE_THROUGHPUT.SCR Scripts, then click OK
