January Web server share: Microsoft Rose 2.32% in Asia

IDC Commentary Network (idcps.com) January 28: Recently, Netcraft released the latest data on the global Web server. According to the show, in January 2016, the Netcraft survey counted 906,616,188 websites worldwide, up 0.62% from a year earlier in December. In addition, the global mainstream Web server market share of the top four ranked order, the same as December, followed by Apache, Microsoft, Nginx and Google. As shown in 1, in January 2016, Netcraf received a total of 906,616,188 survey sites, 901,002,770 in December 2015, an increase of 0.62%.

Look at Figure 2, Figure 3, the January Global major Web server market share in the four World War, Apache, although ranked 1th, but the share continues to decline, fell to 33.56%, compared with last December reduced by 2.03%, the decline increased. Microsoft habitat, with a good performance, increased its share by 2.32% to 28.95%, narrowing the gap with Apache. In addition, Nginx and Google received 3, 4, each occupy 15.6%, 2.29% share. Among them, Nginx share was significantly eroded, reduced by 1.82%.

Take a closer look at Figure 4, Figure 5 data, you can learn that in January 2016, the most active Web server is still Apache, its share of 49.9%, compared with last December to reduce 0.23%. Nginx second, the share small rose to 16.03%. Then, Microsoft ranked 3rd in its 10.04% share, down 0.38% on the chain. Google ranked 4th, with a share of less than 10%, to 7.89%, increasing by 0.21%.
