1. First install the JDK2. Right-click the My Computer Point property into the Properties page, tap advanced system settings to enter the Advanced System Settings page, click Environment Variables 3. Example of a new system variable variable named JAVA_HOME:JDK: Java_home:c:\program Files\java \jdk1.7.0_134. The new system variable variable is named Class_path example: Class_path:.; %java_home%\lib;%java_home%\lib\dt.jar;%java_home%\lib\tools.jar is used to compile JAVA files 5. Add in the system variable path;%java_home%\bin;% Java_home%\jre\bin; 6. Use the java-version command on the cmd command line to test whether the configuration is successful using the Javac test to compile the Java file correctly
